Description
Connect your WooCommerce store and let Taxually handle everything: VAT and sales tax registration, monthly filings, and direct representation with tax authorities across the EU, UK, US, Australia, and beyond. No manual exports. No missed deadlines. No compliance anxiety.
Handle the full compliance journey, not just calculation
Most tax tools stop at checkout. Taxually goes further. Our platform and team of tax experts take care of what happens after the transaction: registration, filing, remittance, and representation with tax authorities. If you’re already using a calculation tool like Avalara or Stripe Tax, Taxually handles the rest.
Your data syncs automatically
Connect once and your WooCommerce transaction data flows to Taxually every month. No CSV exports, no manual uploads, no back-and-forth with your accountant.
Real tax experts behind the platform

How it works
- Install and activate the plugin
- Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Taxually
- Click “Connect to Taxually” and sign in with your Taxually account
- Specify your fulfilment location(s)
- Your transaction data syncs automatically. Taxually handles compliance from there.
Important note
This plugin handles automated data sync between WooCommerce and Taxually. Real-time checkout tax calculation is on the product roadmap. The current value is on the filing and compliance side: what happens after the transaction.
External services
This plugin connects to the Taxually API to enable OAuth-based authentication and to allow Taxually to pull your WooCommerce transaction data for tax compliance purposes.
Taxually API
The plugin communicates with the following Taxually API endpoint:
- Production: https://taxually-api.azurewebsites.net
What data is sent and when:
During the connection flow, the plugin sends the following data to the Taxually API:
- Your store URL and store display name
- A PKCE code challenge (a one-time cryptographic value used to secure the OAuth flow)
- WooCommerce REST API credentials (consumer key and secret), which are transmitted once at the end of the OAuth flow so Taxually can pull order data from your store
No data is sent until you explicitly initiate the connection by clicking “Connect to Taxually” in the plugin settings. Once connected, Taxually accesses your store data (orders, products, customer addresses) directly via the WooCommerce REST API on a scheduled basis for tax compliance processing.
