## Description

EU VAT Validator for WooCommerce helps stores validate VAT numbers during checkout
using the official VIES SOAP service.

## Installation

 1. Upload the `woo-eu-vat-validator` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`.
 2. Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” screen in WordPress.
 3. Ensure WooCommerce is active.
 4. Test checkout with a valid EU VAT number.

## FAQ

### Does this plugin send data to third-party services?

Only the VAT number validation request to the official EU VIES SOAP endpoint is 
made. This is core functionality.

### Is WooCommerce required?

Yes. WooCommerce must be active.
